Abitabilità (Certificate of Habitability)

Also known as agibilità, this is an official certificate from the Comune (municipality) confirming a property meets building, health, and safety regulations for habitation. It verifies parameters like minimum ceiling heights, light/air ratios, and compliance of systems (heating, electrical, etc.) so the home is legally fit to live in . The certificate is typically issued after construction or renovation and is required for selling or renting a property.
